ELM CITY KIDS
Kids are a priority for us here and our goal is to partner with parents to help build a spiritual foundation for their children's lives. We want kids to learn more about Jesus in a way that is both exciting, creative, and age-appropriate. We are passionate about making sure our kids are well-cared-for in a safe and fun environment!
on a Sunday morning...
We offer 4 Elm City Kids rooms every Sunday during the services.
Nursery (birth - 3 years), Pre-K/K (3 - Kindergarten), Lower Elementary (1st - 3rd grade), and Upper Elementary (4th - 6th grade).
Nursery, Pre-K/K, and Lower Elementary will be available at both the 9 and 10:30 am services; Upper Elementary will ONLY be available at the 10:30 am service.
Our kids programming in the Pre-K and Elementary rooms focuses on teaching kids stories from the Bible, having discussions with them about real-life situations, and always reminding them how much God cares about them. We also sing worship songs, dance, pray together, have a snack, play games, and make crafts. Kids are immersed in the Bible and go in depth on a certain topic each week. We also send out a recap email every week so you can follow up with your kids about what they learned!
Each room has two background-checked, quality volunteers who are passionate about kids ministry and raising up the next generation in the church.
We use a registration system that prints out name tags for all children, and allows us to access parent contact information. When you arrive, a helpful volunteer will get you checked in. If this is your first time attending, we suggest using this form to add your kids' names into our system before a Sunday morning.
MIDDLE SCHOOLERS
On the first Sunday of the month after church, students in grades 6-8 meet for a time of games, Bible learning, and fun together. On the third Friday of every month, we host a special outing with the group.
